The driver lost control of a Ford Mondeo while driving on the Sichersdorf goods road from Herzogsdorf towards Steinbach at the weekend. The car veered off the road to the right and hit a bench next to a chapel before driving over a sloping meadow and hitting a cherry tree. The left wing mirror and the side window of the car shattered.
Accident not reported
The driver left the scene of the accident without reporting the incident, which must have occurred between Sunday evening and Monday evening. According to the police, the car parts that were left at the scene of the accident are believed to be from a brown/gray Ford Mondeo, built between 2001 and 2007. The car in question should have significant damage to the front left and driver’s side. The St. Martin im Mühlkreis police station is asking for information on 059133-4259.
