The situation has not improved since then, as a recent survey by the Ifes Institute on behalf of the SPÖ parliamentary group for the Mühlviertel has shown.

Housing more important than climate, work and asylum
Almost one in three Mühlviertel residents surveyed (31 percent) say that housing and the cost of living are the most important issues that the state government should address. Only then come the climate crisis and environmental protection (20 percent), work and wages (11 percent) and asylum and migration (10 percent).
