On the way to training, the players were met by their fans.

Rapid Vienna is currently completing a week-long training camp at the Hotel Freigold. Training takes place on the adjacent SV Freistadt pitch, which attracts numerous autograph hunters every day. The players were already expected on the way from the hotel to the training ground on Monday. The fans didn’t care whether the signature was left on the shirt, the cap, the Rapid flag or on the upper body. The most popular were autographs from Guido Burgstaller. But the young talents in the squad also willingly signed items they brought with them. Samuel Altreiter and Florian Tschunko from Lasberg are particularly big Rapid fans: they had stuck photos of all 30 squad players in a folder. In fact, they got autographs from all of them and were able to leave the training camp satisfied.
