SV Ried has only achieved a double-digit result once in its history as a professional club. In the 2015/2026 season, the Innviertler team beat SV Innsbruck 15-0.
On Sunday morning, the second division team beat third division team Röthis (Vorarlberg) 11-0 away. Ried was already leading 3-0 after 19 minutes. But the second division promotion hopefuls’ hunger for goals was far from over. The goals for Ried were scored by Bumberger, Wohlmuth, Grosse (3x), Sane (4x), Beganovic and Sollbauer.
Things will get really serious for SV Ried next Friday (6 p.m.) at the second division opener. Coach Maximilian Senft’s team will face SV Stripfing away. The game will take place in the Generali Arena, the stadium of Vienna’s Austria Vienna.
