The song entitled “Cornelia Street” from the album “Lover” is the reason why Taylor Swift fans chose Corneliusgasse in Vienna’s 6th district to meet other “Swifties” despite the concert cancellations. The community sticks together and people hang bracelets on the branches of a small tree and comfort each other.

“It’s a nightmare, but it’s nice to see that the community is coming together here,” says 29-year-old Azura. She traveled alone from Rome to Vienna last night and only saw the message when she got off the plane. But the Italian is by no means the only one who has traveled from abroad for nothing.
