A giantess giving birth, Klimt’s “The Kiss” as a human image 30 meters high, a ballet made up of seven hot air balloons: today’s sound cloud promises to be extraordinary. It is designed as a tribute to eight pioneers by Carlus Padrissa and his artist group “La Fura dels Baus”. The Barcelona-based troupe was already responsible for the sound cloud in 2018. Padrissa is no stranger to the international opera scene: he has staged Richard Wagner’s “Tannhäuser” at La Scala in Milan as well as Mozart’s “Magic Flute” at the Ruhrtriennale in Germany.
