Focus on getting to know each other: The Black Wings want the chemistry to be right

Golf, water sports, tennis, karting and cycling – the ice hockey stars of the Steinbach Black Wings have to show off their multi-sport skills in the current preseason. In addition to team-building units, in which the team structure is to be strengthened, there are also semi-public appearances with sponsors of the organization.

Right at the start of the preseason, the cracks went to the golf course in Luftenberg with the Black Wings’ sponsors. After the public training match and the subsequent team presentation in the pool for the crowd of fans, the team enjoyed a free afternoon at the Feldkirchen bathing lakes, where water sports and a barbecue were on the agenda. A few days later, some of the cracks literally hit the ground running in Urfahr – at a tennis tournament.

Last week, the Black Wings invited sponsors and players to an evening on the go-kart track in the Rotax Dome Linz. More than 100 participants accepted the invitation. The event concluded this evening with a joint bike ride from the ice rink up to the Gis – again with sponsors who had the Linzers’ own cycling jerseys made for the first time.
