At least 18 deaths at mass panics at train station in Neu-Delhi

15 other people were injured, as the head of government of the territory of the capital of India, Atishi Marlena Singh, confirmed on Sunday morning to reporters.

As Indian media reported, there was a fatal crowd on the departure of trains to the Hindu Festival Kumbh Mela. 15 victims were admitted to the Lok Nayak Hospital in the Indian capital, as the deputy director Ritu Saxena AFP said. The broadcaster NDTV reported on another hospital of three other deaths.

There are also children among the victims, reported NDTV. According to Saxena, there were also at least eleven injuries. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the members of the dead. “I pray for the quick recovery of the injured,” he also wrote in online service X.
