After the reigning parliamentary majority accepted the agenda, contrary to the opposition’s proposals, smoke bombs were lit in the meeting room. There was a fight between individual MPs, eggs flew in the hall, but also water bottles.
Members taken to the hospital
At least one MP was hospitalized. However, Parliament President Ana Brnabic decided not to interrupt the meeting. 62 points, including numerous draft laws, were on the program on Tuesday. Brnabic accused the opposition of being responsible for the tumult. Only after all the legislative proposals are accepted, the parliament should take note of the resignation of Premier Milos Vucevic, which was already submitted on January 28.
