Immediately after a mission in the Rindbach climbing garden on Saturday morning – a 19 -year -old crashed around 30 meters over steep terrain – another alarm went in.

In search of a route, a 19-year-old HTL student from the Vöcklabruck district lost his hold and had slipped into the depth over a channel covered with dry and slippery leaves. His friend of the same age from the Gmunden district, who looked at the misfortune, provided first aid with two other climbers. The climber suffered a serious head injury and grazes. He was flown to the Wels Clinic after the first aid with the emergency medical helicopter “Martin 3”.
Six mountain rescuers were in action. In addition to the care of the accident, the mountain rescue also took care of the injured friend’s shocked friend and accompanied him safely into the valley.
