Argentine women lead the region in terms of having the largest number of women members of the crypto ecosystem.
Passed Women’s Day and the numbers continue to reflect that women are less involved in financial systems than men but that, gradually, the gender gap is beginning to narrow.
According to data from the Chilean cryptocurrency exchange, Buda.com, the level of participation of women in the region in the crypto ecosystem only reaches 25%.
However, with respect to the distribution by country, women in Argentina lead the list with 60%. It is followed by Colombia with 25%, Chile 10% and Peru 6%, as highlighted by the exchange.
As for why women decide to invest in cryptocurrencies. Only 33% of those surveyed by the Bitget exchange answered that feel confident in their ability to make investment decisions.
