The government of Río Negro launched an attractive call for integrate doctors into the public health system provincial, offering salaries exceeding $3,500,000with the aim of attracting professionals from various parts of the country.

This offer, intended for clinical doctors, pediatricians, surgeons and obstetrician-gynecologistsincludes a base salary, additional payments for guards and a compensation of $350,000 to help cover the cost of rent in the province, highlighted the Ministry of Healthin charge of making the proposal.

The province faces a shortage of medical professionalsand the Minister of Health, Demetrius Thalasselishighlighted the importance of this initiative: “We are looking for doctors from Argentina interested in establishing themselves in different locations in Río Negro. We offer highly competitive salaries and an additional fee for settlement, in response to the high rental costs in certain regions,” he explained. Thalasselis also stressed that the province offers opportunities for personal and professional development, and encouraged those interested to join an expanding health system.

The call will allow health professionals to be assigned to different hospitals according to current needs, with the ministry designating specific destinations.
