Likewise, the Government demanded “once again, the immediate and unconditional release of Nahuel Agustín Gallo, guaranteeing his physical and mental integrity”, as well as “full respect for his human rights, in accordance with international law and the bilateral treaties in force between both countries.”

“The recent report of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) rigorously exposes the serious irregularities committed by the Nicolás Maduro regime, which uses the state apparatus as a tool of political and social control to perpetuate itself in power and hinder legitimate efforts. of the democratic opposition, headed by the elected president Edmundo González Urrutia and María Corina Machado,” they continued.

Furthermore, they expressed their repudiation of “these abuses” and called on the international community to strongly condemn these criminal acts and violations of international law“.
