Robert Habeck has found a successor for the ousted Secretary of State Patrick Graichen. Philipp Nimmermann is the name of the new one. The economist is considered a relaxed pragmatist. More importantly, he is not related or related by marriage to anyone in the energy and eco scene.
Robert Habeck has a new one. Five days after his state secretary Patrick Graichen was kicked out, the Green Economics Minister announced his successor: Philipp Nimmermann, 57, is already state secretary in an economics ministry, that of Habeck’s party friend in Hesse, Tarek Al-Wazir.
“With Philipp Nimmermann, an experienced state secretary with economic expertise, a lot of administrative experience and a connoisseur of political processes is coming to the BMWK,” says Habeck, his future boss.
