One dead and many injured in attack on Odessa
Nightly attacks on Ukraine are the order of the day. On Saturday night it hit the port city of Odessa once again – with fatal consequences.
A woman has died in a nighttime Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian port city of Odessa. “13 other people, including two children, were injured,” the Odessa regional prosecutor’s office said. Investigations into suspected war crimes have been started.
Since the beginning of its war of aggression against Ukraine, Russia has also been systematically shelling cities and other civilian targets – especially energy supply facilities – in the neighboring country.
According to authorities, two high-rise buildings, several private residential buildings and the storage rooms of a private company were damaged in the night attack against Odessa. Ten cars were completely burned out in the fire caused by the impact and other vehicles were damaged.
