Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu left the hospital four days after an operation. This time with the doctors’ approval.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been released from hospital four days after prostate surgery. His office announced this. According to the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, the procedure under general anesthesia last Sunday was successful.
Just two days after the operation, the 75-year-old had briefly left the hospital against the advice of doctors to help his government gain a majority in a parliamentary vote on an important law. This became necessary because his right-wing extremist coalition partner, Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, and other right-wing parliamentarians had announced that they would vote against the law.
The head of government has been in hospital frequently for health problems in the past, most recently at the end of March because of a hernia. A pacemaker was inserted in him in the summer of 2023.
