How many constituencies are there in Germany?
Germany is currently divided into 299 constituencies. These are designed in such a way that they ensure a even distribution of the votes. These delimitations are checked again every four years, before each Bundestag election, and, if necessary, adjusted. One reason for the new description of a constituency can be a municipal area change, for example. Population developments can also ensure a new division of constituencies.
How can I choose by postal voting?
It is possible to choose in advance by post. If you are prevented on February 23 and opt for voting by postal voting, you need an option. You can apply for this from the community of your main place of residence. This is possible personally or in writing. You can also request the documents online in many communities. You should make your application for an optional certificate early on as possible. To do this, you do not have to wait for the election notification to be preserved.
