After Trump escalation: Straßer wants to receive Selenskyj today

Strander, who had a emphasized harmonious meeting with Trump in Washington just one day before Selenskyj, tries to position himself as a transatlantic bridge builder. Unlike many European heads of state and government, he did not post public solidarity with the Ukrainian on social media. Instead, he reached the listener and had talks with Trump and the Ukrainian president.

Strander keeps his unshakable support for Ukraine and does everything he can to find a way to a permanent peace based on sovereignty and security for Ukraine, said a downening street spokesman.
