Now the battle for promotion in the regional football league is becoming a real thriller: On Friday, the LASK Amateure OÖ fell top of the table Leoben (2-0) and pushed themselves to the top of the third division with the win – on Saturday WSC/Hertha Wels followed suit: The team from Coach Emin Sulimani defeated Kalsdorf 3:2 at the start of spring.
The hosts were 2-0 down at the break – but Lukas Ried (48′), Hector Galiano (58′) and Amar Hodzic (87′) turned the game around in the second half. “Not much came together in the first half. During the break we switched and made three changes, so we were there from the first minute,” says WSC/Hertha coach Emin Sulimani, who also made a curious statement after the gold goal in the finish Yellow card saw: “Referee Skalic explained to me that I got the yellow card in place of the enthusiastic celebration on our bench.
