The World Cup eighth Henrik Janssen (62.94) and his German compatriot David Wrobel (62.32) landed in the places. Weißhaidinger’s training colleague Victoria Hudson won the javelin throw with 57.57 m, Lionel Strasser with 2.07 m the high jump.

Apart from his eleventh success of the season, Weißhaidinger also acted as an organizer and was relieved afterwards. “I couldn’t have imagined my meeting premiere in Taufkirchen any better. It’s also nice that I won in the end”. According to the 31-year-old from Upper Austria, the meeting should also take place next year.

Hudson wasn’t entirely happy with her width. “But the wind conditions were really difficult,” said the World Cup fifth.
