Defending champion Francesco Bagnaia is ready to start again.
The championship leader escaped from the crash at the start last Sunday in Montmelo with bruises but no broken bones. He plans to be at the start in Misano, according to a broadcast from the Ducati factory team.
His Ducati colleague Enea Bastianini will definitely miss at least three MotoGP races in the coming weeks. As his racing team announced, the Italian has already undergone surgery after injuries suffered at the Catalan Grand Prix. The 25-year-old is not only absent at the weekend in Misano, but also for the following World Cup stations in India (September 22nd to 24th) and Japan (September 29th to October 1st). Defending champion Francesco Bagnaia, on the other hand, is ready.
Bastianini had already triggered a mass crash with several drivers in the first corner on Sunday in Montmelo. He suffered a broken tibia in his left leg and a metacarpal fracture in his left hand.
