Luis José Di Palma (Fiat) achieved pole position this afternoon to start ahead tomorrow in the main race of the Top Race V6 motorsports, which will complete the ninth date of the calendar at the Hermanos Emiliozzi racetrack, in the city of Olavarría.
The 34-year-old pilot from Reef established the fastest record with 1m. 28s. 323/1000, leading by 48 thousandths over Buenos Aires native Diego Azar (Lexus), who is also the current two-time champion.
Third place went to Marcelo Ciarrocchi (Ford) from Córdoba, 92 thousandths behind.
“Unintentionally and with an unplanned strategy we were able to get pole (position). We had ended up worried after the second training session,” said Di Palma, to the microphones of ‘Carburando’ (TyC Sports).
