For its part, Álvaro Recoba’s team took the field with a 4-5-1 formation with Luis Mejía between the three sticks; Leandro Lozano, Juan Izquierdo, Diego Polenta and Gabriel Báez in defense; Lucas Sanabria, Alexis Castro, Antonio Galeano, Mauricio Pereyra and Osinachi Ebere in the midfield; and Gonzalo Carneiro up front.
