National team: Nagelsmann: No big changes against Netherlands

After the successful start to the European Championship year, Julian Nagelsmann wants to stick to his basic formation in the second tournament test against the Netherlands. “It is not planned that we will make changes six or seven times,” said the national coach after the national soccer team’s 2-0 win in France regarding personnel considerations for the game against arch-rivals Holland on Tuesday in Frankfurt.

Last game before European Championship nomination

Nagelsmann decided on his starting eleven early on before the France duel and assigned clear roles throughout the squad. “We will go through with the idea,” he announced. The game against the Netherlands is the last opportunity for Nagelsmann to check out his staff before being nominated for the European Championship. He will name his 23-player squad for the home tournament at the end of May.
