FC Bayern is taking advantage of the runner-up. According to a media report, Hiroki Ito is moving to Munich for a double-digit million euro transfer fee.
The transfer of defender Hiroki Ito from VfB Stuttgart to FC Bayern Munich is apparently complete. As the “Bild” newspaper reports, the Japanese international football player is going to Munich for a fixed transfer fee of 30 million euros.
Both sides are in agreement, so the only thing missing is the 25-year-old’s signature. VfB has also been informed about the transfer. The evening before, several media outlets had already reported that the transfer was imminent. However, there has been no confirmation from the clubs so far.
Ito, who has a strong left foot, was one of Stuttgart’s top performers last season and played a major role in the team’s second place in the Bundesliga and qualification for the Champions League. The English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur is also said to have expressed interest in Ito.
