The Government published a video before presenting the name change of the CCK: “The Libertad Palace is born”

The emblematic building will be officially known as Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Freedom Palace Cultural Center. The presidential spokesperson, with the rank of minister, showed a video of the preparations for the celebration this Saturday in front of the place.

What will the celebration of the Palacio Libertad be like?

The president Javier Milei will lead the celebration today, in the cultural center located at Sarmiento 151, in the San Nicolás neighborhood. So far, it was revealed that there will be a symphony orchestra that will perform the hymn to Domingo Faustino Sarmiento.

At the moment, no further details are known or if the head of state will speak in front of the public present. The Government only announced a “special activity” according to TN. The event, which will serve as a relaunch of the cultural center, will be this Saturday at 7 p.m. and the presence of the entire Cabinet.

In addition, the CCK website will have a new look starting this Thursday.

The Government decreed the name change of the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK)

The name change of Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK) was confirmed by the Government, through a Decree of Necessity and Urgency (DNU) of the president Javier Milei. Historically, the building was built on behalf of Ramón J. Cárcanonational director of the Post Office in 1890.

The initiative arose from a project by the French Norbert Maillartcalled for a building renovation financed with resources from the agro-export model. At the end of the 20th century it was disaffected from the National Post and Telegraph Company.
