Hertha leaves X – “contradiction to our own values”
Hertha BSC is leaving the social media platform X. The Berliners are now active on a new platform and are justifying the change with a clear statement.
Second division soccer team Hertha BSC is leaving Elon Musk’s Platform X. A diverse community has formed in recent years, but the new philosophy under the US billionaire does not fit the principles of the club, it was said.
“As a club, we cannot ignore when hatred against minorities, right-wing extremist content, anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and racist insults are no longer moderated under the pretext of freedom of expression,” said Hertha managing director Thomas E. Hertha BSC moves to Bluesky
