“An exclusion of transpersonen leads to stigmatization and marginalization and contradicts the values ​​of fairness, inclusion and respect that characterize sport,” it continues. The decree contradicts the principles of the ADH “fundamental”. The University Sports Association is committed to the United Nations Agenda 2030 on the principles of diversity, equality and sustainable development.

Trump had particularly approached sports at public schools and universities. “With this decree, the war against women’s sports is over,” he explained in the White House and, like often, criticized the “militant transgender ideology” of the “radical left” in his eyes.

Trump accepts the United States’ committee committee

Schools and universities are often considered talent in the United States. They therefore play a central role in professional sports. The President also expects the United States’ National Olympic Committee that it would no longer allow “men in women’s sports” to be allowed in the future, a spokeswoman for the White House had previously declared. In the past, numerous women in the United States should have suffered that they had to compete against male competitors on the one hand, and on the other hand they also had to take a shower with men. The next Summer Olympics will take place in Los Angeles in 2028.

Transmens or transgender are people who do not identify with the gender they were assigned to them at birth. The new decree is part of a series of similar measures by the Trump government, including restrictions for transgender people in the US military.

Sports organizations already have regulations

Opponents argue that there are far-well-founded evidence that transgender athletes dominate women’s sports on a large scale. They point out that sports organizations have already developed differentiated regulations that take into account scientific factors such as hormone levels. “University sport must remain a room that is open to everyone and serves individual development,” said the ADH.

The US President has a certain authority by decree, but his orders may not violate existing laws or the constitution.
