Locked up in toilet: bumpy Formula 1 journey for ex-pilot
At the Formula 1 season start in Melbourne, ex-world champion Jacques Villeneuve is first expected as a brand ambassador. The journey began for the Canadian with a curious mishap.
This business trip begins well: Ex-Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve has had to take an involuntarily long toilet break on the way to the start of the season. “I’ve been on the toilet for 20 minutes and the security guards can’t get me out,” the Canadian wrote on Instagram.
He posted a photo that was taken at Malpensa Airport. “The toilet flushing goes every 30 seconds. What fun. Very impressive.” After a good mood, Villeneuve’s expression does not look like the selfie.
The door occurred, piece of blanket on the head
At some point, the 1997 world champion only helped raw violence to free himself. In a second photo, the now 53-year-old showed the battered door from the outside and wrote: “I managed to get out after 30 minutes. I had to enter the door, and a piece of the blanket fell on my head. Ready to go to Down Under.” The new Formula 1 season begins in Melbourne on Sunday with the Grand Prix of Australia.
The comments mingled with amusement and malfunction. Villeneuve, who works as an ambassador for his former racing team Williams from this season, replied to a post: “Hahaha, I wonder how many enemies I already have before my first Grand Prix.”
