The company announced this today, Friday. Krahofer, 54, was managing director at the Honigmayr trading company and authorized signatory at Spitz. From May, the graduate business informatics specialist will take over from Klaus Hraby, who was managing director at Efko for more than ten years.
In the future, Krahofer will form a dual leadership team with Bernhard Stöhr. At Efko, Stöhr is responsible for the areas of purchasing, IT, logistics, production and technology, while Krahofer takes care of sales, marketing, finance, controlling, human resources and fresh vegetables. Hraby remains responsible for the Efko Group and strategic raw material development.
The Efko Group processes and refines around 94,000 tons of 70 types of fruit and vegetables every year. The group has 650 employees, most recently the turnover was 168.5 million euros. The group has been majority-owned by Raiffeisenlandesbank Oberösterreich since 1976.
