According to the company, these disruptions are expected to last until 3 p.m. It is still unclear how many travelers are affected.
The disruption affects train connections between Fulda and Frankfurt and between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden, the company announced. There will be delays of up to 40 minutes and train cancellations. In long-distance traffic, ICE trains between Berlin and Frankfurt and between Kassel, Fulda and Frankfurt are affected.
In some places, rail replacement services will be set up. Deutsche Bahn asked all travellers to find out about their connection before travelling on bahn.de, in the DB Navigator or by calling the travel information line +49 30 2970.
