An ORF manager is taking action against her employer at the Vienna Labor and Social Court. She sees herself as sexually harassed and bullied by her former boss, who has meanwhile left the company. She then changed departments at her own request, concluded an agreement with the ORF and is now complaining that this was not complied with and she was given a job advertisement because of her gender had been discriminated against.
According to ORF lawyer Katharina Körber-Risak, the allegations were taken seriously, but a conflict-ridden employment relationship was found. The ORF fulfilled the agreement made. However, the job now demanded by the manager must be advertised. The hearing is scheduled for Friday.
