Fresh off his Oscar campaign fueled by Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan it will become in Sir Christopher Nolanwhile his production partner and wife Emma Thomas has received the title of lady.

The king Charles III awarded creative industry honors on Thursday afternoon, and Netflix co-CEO, Ted Sarandoswas also recognized.

Sarandos was awarded the title of Honorary Commander of the Order of the British Empire, according to a document published by the British government.

The UK Foreign Office may recommend honorary awards for citizens of countries that do not have the King as head of state. Steven Spielberg and Angelina Jolie are among the artists who have previously received this recognition.

Sarandos said in a statement: “The UK’s creative brilliance, quality craftsmanship and best-in-class production facilities make it an extraordinary place to invest. “We couldn’t be more excited to be part of the creative community here and this is a true honour.”
