This long weekend, Buenos Aires prepares for a vibrant celebration and culturally enriching, with a variety of special activities that will include gastronomy, live music, contests and more.
The event will feature the participation of more than 70 alfajoreros producers from all over the country. Attendees will be able to taste various flavors of alfajores, such as bon o bon, marroc, Ferrero Roger, Malbec, yerba mate, and exotic fruits, among others. A jury made up of 10 experts will choose the “Argentine Alfajor Champion”.
Argentine Black Truffle Festival
The Argentine Black Truffle Festival will be held on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Fernández diagonal property between Namuncurá and Malvinas, in the town of Espartillar, located in the Saavedra – Pigüé district.
In its third edition, TRUFAR will offer a variety of activitiessuch as a tour of the gastronomic fair, a walk through stands of regional products and cooking master classes by renowned chefs.
Chefs Lele Cristobal and Osvaldo Gross will be present (admission charged), and there will be free truffle hunting demonstrations in Plaza Centenario, as well as guided tours of the town. The event is organized by Trufas del Nuevo Mundo with the support of the Municipality of Saavedra and RECREO itinerant.
Ayacucho Anniversary
Within the framework of the 158 years since the founding of Ayacucho and on Flag Day, on Thursday, June 20, there will be an exhibition of the Flag Contest at the La Vieja Usina Cultural Center, from 1 pm to 8 pm. At 8 pm, the Creole Mass will be celebrated in the Nuestra Señora de la Purificación parish.
