After a 5:1 (0:1, 2:0, 3:0) victory over the Dragons from Mödling, the hosts of the Amstettner Wolves received the gold medals of the national champions. More than 500 spectators cheered for the Amstettner Wolves at the beginning of the middle third, because the guests had also taken a 1-0 lead after a goal from a man down in the 19th minute. Lukas Friedl did better with a slapshot on the power play in the second period, Niclas Grebin then went on to make it 2-1.
