26 kilos of cocaine discovered in a car inspection in Bavaria

The drugs were transported in several packages in a smuggler’s hiding place in the trunk, said the State Criminal Police Office in Munich on Tuesday. The sales value of the cocaine discovered in Pfronten is in the millions.

The 35-year-old Romanian driver of the car and his son were reportedly arrested after the discovery on Friday, and both are now in custody. The car and the drugs are now to be investigated.
