The 69-year-old was working on his agricultural property on Monday morning when the accident happened: Shortly after 8 a.m. he drove up a steep embankment with a motor mower weighing around 150 kilograms. Presumably due to uneven ground, the forward gear disengaged and the motor mower rolled backwards. The pensioner fell and was run over by the mower.
After first aid, the injured person was taken to the accident hospital in Linz.
