When is the income tax return charged?

The General Tax Directorate (DGI) informed through its website the dates corresponding to the collection of the refunds of the Income Tax of Physical Persons (personal income tax) for the year 2023.

The automatic returns of workers in a state of dependency will be charged as of June 16 through an assigned bank or in the authorized collection networks of the country.

On the other hand, returns that arise as Refunds by Sworn Declaration will be collected from the banks on July 17, and from July 28 in the collection networks.

How are income tax refunds made?

Income tax refunds can be collected, either through a bank deposit, or in the authorized collection networks Abitab and RedPayments. To receive the bank deposit, the person must carry out a procedure in said entity.

Deadlines to present the IRPF Affidavit to the DGI

Those workers with more than one job must make the Affidavitand whose income has been above 840,345 nominal pesos between the months of January and December 2022.

The term they have to submit the Affidavit goes from July 3 to August 28, according to the DGI expiration calendar for the current year.

Returns will be ordered by the last digit of the identity card (CI), of the Single Tax Registry (RUT), or of foreign identity number. The digits 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4, can do it between July 3 and July 31, while those that end in digits 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9, from the 1st of August to August 28.
