The Champions League 2024/2025, which started on Tuesday, changed its format to 36 teams and, with this, its prize pool figures. There is a big increase compared to previous years’ prize pools.
Participation will be the highest paid so far, with 18.62 million euros compared to 15, although each victory will have a prize of 2.1 million and 700,000 of the same currency for a draw. This is because the prize for victory is divided into three, leaving one third for each team and one third for a common fund.
The club that comes in first place will earn 9.9 million euros, while the last-placed club will only earn 275,000.
