When it comes to promoting your own smartphones, manufacturers are always happy to rely on new superlatives for cameras. With the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, on the other hand, the folding screen is the clear star (you can find the detailed test here). Fortunately, Samsung has not neglected the notches. In the photo gallery you will find some everyday snapshots that show the strengths and weaknesses of the camera.
The fact that the Galaxy Z Flip3 cannot secure the smartphone camera throne despite the good pictures is due to the lack of versatility: Samsung deliberately opted for only two lenses, a wide-angle lens as the main camera and an ultra-wide-angle lens for extended image sections. Unfortunately, there is no zoom function that, like the Galaxy S21 Ultra (here in our test), can enlarge the image up to ten times without loss.
