But it still doesn’t work without maintenance work. After there were failures at Vodafone in several regions on Thursday, they could now continue, warns the group.
The maintenance work is actually only planned for the night from Thursday to Friday, but failures can also occur during the day, warned Vodafone. Work is planned in the Duisburg area, the Durmersheim area, the Frankfurt area and the Mönchengladbach area. However, some of the failures should also be able to drag on into Friday, according to the group.
So far no accumulation
If you look at the messages under “All faults”, there seem to be no massive failures so far. While there have been reported disruptions in some of the regions mentioned, they do not exceed those in other heavily populated regions. This indicates that it is usually a matter of general malfunctions and not a consequence of maintenance work.
That was different yesterday. During the night of Thursday and partly during the day, Vodafone carried out maintenance work in a number of regions, including Aachen, Mannheim and Wetzlar. The consequences were noticeable for many customers: around noon, the complaints shot upwards, nationwide they were five times their current value. After they had sunk again quickly, there was another significant increase in the evening, which only slowly flattened out. In the morning hours, the reports were above average, but there don’t seem to be any massive problems.
