Commission in Guiana allowed “Soyuz-ST-B” to refuel

Roscosmos on Saturday, December 4, announced that it had received a permit from the state commission in French Guiana to refuel the Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle. The start is scheduled for 03:19 Moscow time on Sunday.

“The State Commission at the Guiana Space Center allowed the Soyuz-ST-B launch vehicle with the Fregat upper stage and Galileo FOC spacecraft to refuel. The start is scheduled at 03:19 Moscow time on December 5, “the message says.

“Let’s hope that the thunderstorm front will pass by. The last weather report before the launch, which determines the possibility of launching our rocket in Kourou, will be received 20 minutes before the launch, ”wrote the head of the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin in his Telegram channel.

The day before the launch of Soyuz-ST-B, scheduled for December 4, from the Kuru cosmodrome, was postponed for a day due to unfavorable weather conditions. The decision to re-postpone was made by the French side seven minutes before the launch.

On December 2, the launch of the launch vehicle was also postponed for a day. Then the reason was the unavailability of the French naval station for receiving telemetry information.
