The traffic police postponed the reception of citizens to December 19 due to a technical failure

In the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia, due to a technical failure, the reception of citizens in the interdistrict registration and examination departments was postponed to December 19. This is reported by the portal “Ministry of Internal Affairs Media”.

“At the time of the work, the provision of public services has been suspended: in particular, services for the registration of motor vehicles and the issuance of driver’s licenses are not provided,” the message says.

It is specified that administrative procedures not related to the operation of the system are carried out as usual.

As explained in the department, the resulting technical failure will be taken into account when making decisions on bringing to justice for violation of the rules of state registration.

“In addition, it will be possible to use payment documents, paid at a 30% discount, to citizens who made an appointment on December 18, 2021, in the following days,” the ministry added.

Earlier that day, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told about single malfunctions in the work of the State Traffic Inspectorate system associated with a technical failure. The department apologized for the inconvenience caused and stressed that technicians are making every effort to eliminate the consequences of the failure.

On November 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the introduction of an application for fines for traffic violations. According to the order of the leader, the country will be able to fine for violations of traffic rules based on photos and videos that are received through a special mobile application.
