Soyuz MS-20 with space tourists undocked from ISS

The Soyuz MS-20 spacecraft with space tourists on board undocked from the Poisk module of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS) on Monday, December 20.

On board the spacecraft are Roscosmos cosmonaut and TASS correspondent Alexander Misurkin, Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa and his business assistant Yozo Hirano.

At 05:18 Moscow time, the ship will turn on the engines for braking and leave orbit. The Soyuz will land at 06:13 Moscow time, 148 km south-east of the city of Zhezkazgan in Kazakhstan, Roscosmos reported.

The Soyuz MS-20 spacecraft with space tourists was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome and docked to the ISS on December 8. The flight participants spent 12 days on the ISS.

At the cosmodrome, upon leaving the Cosmonaut Hotel, the ship’s crew was escorted to the song “Grass by the House” in Japanese. This song was recorded by the Deai duet – Japanese singer Natsuka Sugawara and Russian musician Vitaly Suntsev.
