The Russian government in 2022 will expand the list of services provided through the public services portal. The portal will be able to issue child benefits, accept tax returns and register rights to real estate, said on Monday, December 20, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the government’s website.
According to him, the Cabinet continues to expand the list of services that can be obtained through a single portal.
“Starting next year, more than 100 regional services will appear there, intended for citizens and businesses,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
The decree on this was signed on December 13. Previously, such services were provided on the online platforms of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, on the websites of specialized departments, or were not provided in electronic form at all.
“The changes that the government is carrying out in this area are aimed at creating a simple and convenient digital environment so that people can order almost all mass socially significant services in electronic format,” concluded Mishustin.
The regions will be able to place on the portal of public services services for the certification of teachers and the provision of free housing, he concluded.
On December 13, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova said that the portal of state services in December will be technically ready to issue certificates to those who have had COVID-19 without going to a doctor and who have been vaccinated abroad.
On December 1, the law on free access to socially significant sites came into force. It includes the resources of state and municipal authorities, off-budget funds, portals of public services.
