The SMM edition of Izvestia MIC has prepared a unique special project in honor of the Year of Science 2021: Science and Technology. What is being invented in Russia “

Izvestia also shares interesting facts about the Russian project for the creation of a medical exoskeleton for the rehabilitation and social adaptation of people with lower paraplegia “ExoAtlet”. The company has developed a device, in other words “external skeleton”, to supplement the physical capabilities of a person. The peculiarity of the development lies in the natural rolling of the foot, which can be adjusted individually to the parameters of each patient, as well as in the stimulation of the muscle tissues of the affected parts.
The special project also tells about the most mysterious elementary particle in the Universe – neutrino. It can be described as an invisible particle, because it has no charge, its mass is practically zero, and the speed of movement is equal to the speed of light. The study of neutrinos helps to understand how stars, galaxies and black holes work, how the universe was born and what will happen to it in the future.
In addition, the SMM team spoke about the first in 20 years a new thermonuclear installation “Tokamak T-15MD”, built in Russia, which was launched at the Kurchatov Institute in May 2021.
