A new feature on Instagram called Avatars has become available to all users of the social network. This was announced on Wednesday, January 19, by the Instagram account of the Big Geek store in the “Stories” section.
Previously, avatars were available only to some users of the platform. However, at the moment, everyone can use the innovation.
In order to activate and customize your avatar, you need to go to the profile tab, select “Settings”, go to “Account” and select “Avatars”. Then you should create a character in accordance with personal preferences: choose his hairstyle, skin color and clothes.
After the setup is complete, when loading the Story, the user will be able to add their avatar by selecting it in the stickers section.
Earlier, on December 9, 2021, it became known that Instagram intends to return to users the ability to view the news feed in chronological order. According to the head of administration of the service, Adam Mosseri, the social network plans to do this in the first quarter of 2022.
