Social network Instagram announced the expansion of the function for the creation and processing of video “Remix” for all video formats, and not just Reels short videos. On Friday, January 21, reports Gadgets 360.
“Creators will have access to a lot more content to choose from as the Reel-exclusive feature is now available for all videos. Users will see a Remix option in the menu for any new videos uploaded to Instagram.
As noted by Instagram representatives, for videos posted before this update, the feature will not be available.
On January 19, the head of this social network, Adam Mosseri, announced that Instagram is introducing a paid subscription function.
According to him, the new feature will allow authors to monetize content and earn money doing what they love. Feature testing is underway in the US for a small number of contributors. It is planned that in the coming months the test group will expand.
In December 2021, it became known that Instagram intends to return to users the ability to view the news feed in chronological order. According to Mosseri, the social network plans to do this in the first quarter of 2022.
